Our approach
Inclusivity
No matter your age, background, gender or origin, our practice is a safe place for you to come and for your healing journey to begin.
Education
We love what we do. We love bringing the body back into balance naturally. What do we love even more? Sharing this knowledge with you.
Training
Practice is what makes you better. That is why we keep training, attending conferences and seminars through the years to improve our skills, our healing approaches and techniques. Because serving you at the best of our capacities is our priority.
How can we help you?
Your first visit
Our goal is to understand you. We begin with a comprehensive health assessment to get to know your specific needs and your personal health goals. We conduct a detailed physical examination, including a posture analysis, neurological tests and a thorough examination of your spine. After the evaluation we will explain to you what is the root problem of your complaints and what needs to be done to get you on your healing journey. We provide a personalized and tailored care plan to achieve your health goals. We will also refer you to a health specialist if we consider this is necessary.
Reset phase
When your body accumulates repetitive stress over the years (whether this stress is physical, emotional or chemical), it will get off balance. Your nervous system will probably respond to that stress by being stuck in long-term patterns, sometimes even for years and before you notice any pain. The goal of the Reset Phase is to push the reset button of your body, allowing your nervous system to gain a new functioning model.
Imagine that you want to build muscles and you go to the gym once per month. But… you see no results. Are you surprised? No, this process takes time and repetition. Well, healing works in the exact same way. Your brain will need time and repetition to learn and memorize these new patterns to bring you closer to your health goals. That is why your chiropractor will recommend seeing you more often during the Reset Phase. Most people initially come twice per week to get significant results.
Stabilization phase
After completing your Reset Phase, your body is now more resilient and more adaptable to the different stresses you can encounter in life. Your nervous system is restoring its natural functioning mode. This means that we can start reducing the frequency of your visits.
As your nervous system returns to its natural function, many patients also notice improvements in their overall health beyond just pain relief (such as improved sleep, digestion, more energy…). This is always a very exciting step for your health of course, but also for us to witness! The stabilization phase is the time when you continue making progress as well as getting your body more stable and avoiding potential future relapses.
We will perform regular check-ups to monitor your progress and ensure you continue on the path to optimal well-being.
Wellness phase
By this time your nervous system is able to fully adapt to its environment. Imagine now going to the dentist to treat cavities in your teeth. Your issue has been fixed. But are you going to stop brushing your teeth in the future? Of course not. Your spine works exactly the same.
The optimal way to maintain the progress you made is to keep getting checked once in a while. How often? This will depend on your daily life activities, stress, work… and we will determine together what is the best frequency of visits for you. The best way to ensure your complaints don’t come back is to have your nervous system and spine checked before they might actually come back.
Your health is a journey. You will receive all the support you need to maintain your life and your health goals at their best. You are not alone on this, we are here to guide you!
